The Miranda Theatre Company is a not for profit organization dedicated to the development and production of new plays that offer hope, while they explore the challenges that face us both as individuals and as member of the global community. With this kind of work, we believe that theatre has the power to transform and inspire audiences to work for a future that embraces positive change. 

Since its founding in 1989, Artistic and Producing Director, Valentina Fratti, has led Miranda in the development and presentation of full productions, 3 Women’s One Act Festival, workshops in The Moonshine Series, commissions and readings.

The company has presented both world and New York premieres by writers like Adam Bock, Cusi Cram, Jeff Daniels, Israel Horovitz and Emily Whitesell and has been honored to work with such artists as, Mary Louise Burke, Geneva Carr, Robert Cuccioli, Celeste Holm, Matt Lenz, Polly Segal, and Mary Testa to name a few.
